What

When Haiti was hit by a devastating earthquake in 2021, CMMB Haiti’s team responded within hours with medicines and medical supplies. Today, we’re still here—helping to rebuild.

There is still much left to do. Yet relentless political turmoil and gang violence in Haiti has risked staff lives and made transporting supplies challenging—and at times impossible.

With funding from the Conrad H. Hilton Foundation and Latter-Day Saint Charities, CMMB Haiti renovated three in Baraderes, Vieux Bourg d’Aquin and Chantal. Plans are in place to build a brand new health facility, on land donated by the community. We re-equipped two health facilities with supplies and installed a new lab.

We also renovated two convents and rebuilt 15 homes for families who lost everything. To improve access to safe drinking water, we distributed 250 water filters to homes and health facilities.
