Across Haiti, mothers and their children face difficult circumstances: widespread poverty, limited education, and scarce access to quality healthcare. With a maternal mortality ratio of 350 per 100,000 and an under-5 mortality rate of 56.5 per 1,000, preventable deaths are too common.
Since 1912, CMMB has been making a difference in Haiti’s most remote and underresourced areas. Working as a trusted local partner, we connect women to antenatal care, make safe in-facility births more accessible, and provide children with the pediatric care they need to make a healthy start. By strengthening the continuum of care—from pregnancy through delivery, postnatal support, and early childhood—we help ensure healthier outcomes for mothers and their children.
